The first meeting space allocations will occur in December 2026.
One of the best aspects of the World Sleep congress is the opportunity to meet in person with colleagues from around the world. Affiliate Meetings held during World Sleep Congress bring together non-profit organizations, research groups, committees, and working groups connected to the global sleep community.
World Sleep Society facilitates these meetings to support collaboration, maximize the value of Congress participation, and encourage continued engagement across the field.
What Is Provided
World Sleep Society provides meeting space for approved Affiliate Meetings.
Room setup and audiovisual configuration may vary and are subject to availability. If specific arrangements are required, rooms may be adjusted at the requesting group’s expense.
Catering and additional services are not included. Groups may coordinate directly with the official Congress vendors if needed.
Application Process
Groups may apply for meeting space by submitting the official application form.
Applications are reviewed beginning December 1, 2026 and continue on a rolling basis.
Meeting space is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
What Happens Next
After submission:
- Applications are reviewed by World Sleep Society
- Available dates, times, and spaces are proposed
- Final details are confirmed in writing
A meeting is not considered scheduled until written confirmation is provided.

Who is Eligible for Meeting Space?
Affiliate meetings are primarily intended for private meetings among interested colleagues with a shared agenda. Associate Society Members of WSS are also welcome to organize affiliate meetings for business purposes or to share research specific to their society’s concern (subject to program committee approval).
Affiliate meeting space is not intended for industry-related events or meetings. Space is available for these purposes; apply through the sponsorship process at worldsleepcongress.com/sponsor-exhibit.

Is There a Cost for Affiliate Meetings?
There is no cost for the space for non-profit groups or working groups wishing to meet. There is a rental fee for industry organizations and companies that wish to have a private meeting space for a limited time. (Rentals are typically for half-day or full-day durations.) Companies who wish to have a small meeting space suitable for business meetings and conferences can rent a private suite for the duration of the congress. In any case, basic furnishing will be included (type of furnishing varying by room), but no AV can be guaranteed and no catering is included. These costs are the responsibility of the affiliate meeting organizer.
Important Notes
- Availability is highest early in the Congress schedule (Saturday and Sunday, September 11 – 12, 2026)
- Mid-week space is limited (Monday – Wednesday, September 13 – 15, 2026)
- Additional fees may apply for meetings with sponsorship or paid participation
